The two-day symposium, sponsored by the PBRI members will include presentations focused on six key focus areas: preparedness, diagnostics, surveillance, sustainable pest management, capability building and industry resilience.
Industries featured in the program and supported by PBRI are – horticulture, forest plantations, grains, wine, sugarcane, cotton, and new and emerging plant industries.
The program will also reflect PBRI’s valued partnerships with Plant Health Australia, Better Border Biosecurity (B3) New Zealand, Euphresco, ACIAR and the Australian Plant Health Committee.
There will be a dedicated session on future plant biosecurity leaders which includes presentations and posters from up-and-coming leaders studying or working in the field of biosecurity.
